Heat-resistant silicone mold for hobby, made in Latvia.
Designed to work with polymer clay, soap, wax, epoxy and other materials.

Silicone withstands minimum - 40°C, maximum +200°C.
The hardness of silicone is 22 sh. This hardness of silicone is convenient for various materials.
For the manufacture of molds, high-quality silicone on a platinum catalyst is used. This silicone is compatible with all types of plaster, coatings, polyurethane and acrylic resins, various polymer clay (Sculpey, Fimo, Cernit, Pardo, Kato) and other types of clay. Also can be used for with wax, soap and other materials.

When working with non-corrosive materials such as polymer clay, soap, the life cycle of silicone molds is almost eternal.
The service life of silicone molds when working with epoxy resin is about 25 applications (depending on the type of resin used). After that, the silicone mold loses its properties. It may start to break.

When working with polymer clay, you can bake a silicone mold (with polymer clay inside) in an oven to demold without deformation. Silicone molds withstand temperatures up to 200°C. The baking temperature of polymer clay is indicated on the packaging of polymer clay. You can also freeze the mold with polymer clay in the freezer for 5-20 minutes, and then remove the workpiece from the mold.
Thin parts can be removed from the mold by simply bending the mold.
