Imprint set "Keeping memories"

Keeping Memories! Make an impression of small baby hands or feet to keep this magical moment as a souvenir forever.
• No mixing, no baking, no chaos.
• Very easy to use.
• Light, air-drying modelling compound-harmless.
• Material ir sufficient for 2 imprint pendants (each with a diameter of approx. 11 cm).
• Your imprint can be painted with acrylic paint after drying.

Content:
1 wooden rolling pin (17 cm);
2 squared lumbers (17 cm);
500 g modelling compound “Porcella”;
1 m pinkish satin ribbon;
1 m light blue satin ribbon.

Additionally you need:
craft knife, covering foil, toothpick

Instruction:
1. Knead well the modelling compound in portions.
2. Roll out the compound smoothly on the protective sheet with a wooden dowel. You can place the 2 squared lumbers on both the left and the right side at the desired distance, that way you get the optimal vertical distance for your shapes. You may additionally smoothen the surface with wet fingers.
3. Now make the imprint. Gently press the baby's hand or foot onto the surface. Remove it immediately and wash the hand/ foot thoroughly with soap and water.
4. Use a craft knife to cut out circularly the imprint or use a suitable round object (e.g. glass) to cut it out. Smooth the edge as desired and pierce a hole at the top for hanging (e.g. with a toothpick or straw).
5. Let the shape dry thoroughly out. This takes about 1-3 days, depending on the room temperature and humitity. Now you can attach a string/ ribbon for hanging.

TIP:
Choose the size that fits your imprint and roll out the modelling compound accordingly.
After drying, you can design the memorabilia individually, e.g. by painting or labelling them. To do this, we recommend to use acrylic paint and acrylic markers.
