Anchor Stranded Cotton is a superior 6 strand extra-long staple 100% Egyptian cotton embroidery thread. It is double mercerised resulting in a brilliant lustre, unique softness and an intense light reflection.
Each 8m skein features a “pull free” construction, allowing the perfect length to be removed from the skein without disrupting the skein itself. This construction makes Anchor Stranded Cotton particularly versatile across all types of embroidery. Ideal for a wide range of embroidery techniques, including cross stitch on various fabric counts, freestyle embroidery, canvas work and many other forms of counted thread embroidery.
Anchor Stranded Cotton thread is also available in multicolour skeins - with up to 6 complimentary colours that change every few inches for a stunning variegated effect. Available in 24 different colour combinations, they bring a colourful stitching experience to any technique, but are especially well suited to freestyle embroidery.
